Rostec Corporation launches a pilot project in the field of e-education

Since September 1, 2017 in the Sverdlovsk region (including Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil), the pilot project for the introduction of the Unified Electronic Educational Environment (UEEE) was launched. It will become the largest project on the use of the integrated system of e-education in Russia: the project is designed for 350 classes-participants, over 700 teachers, more than 10,000 schoolchildren.

One of the important elements of the UEEE is the electronic gadget for the schoolchild, created by Russian developers – it is a two-screen panel device (tablet). Externally, the gadget resembles a book. The electronic devices are completely safe for students, because one of the two screens is made on the basis of the technology of "electronic ink". They weigh no more than 1.5 kg.
